Müsabiqənin keçirilməsində məqsəd Xocalı Soyqırımının qurbanlarının xatirəsinin yad edilməsi, Azərbaycan tarixinin təbliği, məktəblilərin dünya görüşünün zənginləşdirilməsi və istedadlı şagirdlərin üzə çıxarılmasından ibarətdir.
